Nebraska decided to keep us trapped as long as possible by cranking up the winds to 25 mph, turning down the temperature to ice up the roads, and putting a lot of stupid drivers on the highway. As a result we crawled down I-80 at maybe 30 to 40 mph for what seemed like days. We entered Nebraska late morning and it was already dark by the time we reached Wyoming, which is also big and boring but at least has mountains and the occasional chemical plant to make the scenery interesting.

Believe it or not, after all that nonsense, I still think flying is worse.

Glad you made it back in one piece. It was good seeing you. Next time we can do it without me being half dead :p
